Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals, and work with brokers and distributes in an effort to sell company products in the U.S. markets
- Provide price quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers.
- Plan and implement customized sales promotions on a national and/or regional level and for specific retail chains as required.
- Analyze sales trends and operating efficiency, product presentations, and best practices in order to maximize profit.
- Handle troubleshooting and works internally and with customers on specific issues.
- Oversee, direct, and supervise sales activities for channels.
- Perform other tasks as needed to manage the company’s sales operations.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum half a year of experience in similar role or industry.
- Proficientin in Software including the use of Windows operating system and MS Office./li>
- High ethical standards to seek constant improvement, more efficient and less costly ways and means in work processes.
- Ability to carry good communication with management, office staff members, and outside contacts.
- Ability to travel as needed (roughly 5 to 10 days per month).
