Responsibilities and Duties
・Prepare financial information for outside accountants, including weekly and monthly book closings, and sales reporting.
・Double-check accuracy of records entered by outside accountants, as well as other transactions for monthly book closing.
・Complete expense reports, sales reports, or other reports, including the monthly consolidated results, for HQ.
・Using EDI platform for receiving purchase orders, sending shipping notices, and issuing invoices.
・Monitor and verify warehouse inventory of products including processing quarterly stocktake results.
・Keep corporate registrations up to date in conjunction with outside legal specialists.
・Manage PC, cell phone, software credentials and other IT matters in conjunction with outsourced IT professionals.
・Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
・Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
・2-4 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a field related to finance or accounting
・1-2 years of experience using accounting software, preference for Quickbooks
・Fluency in Japanese language, in order to work with Japan headquarters preferred.
