Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate hiring processes and outreach to the necessary organizations and sourcing, screen and correspondwith applicants to successfully hire ideal candidates.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Manage and maintain HR information i.e., salary, title, reporting manager, changes to benefits, salary, etc accurately.
  • Handles employee relations matters including performance improvement plan development, investigations and exit interview.
  • Specialize in both local employment law, company policy, and ensure the accurate and efficient handling of all incidents related to the employee experience.
  • Assist with office administration and asset management by working cross functionally .
  • Provide responses to compliance-related requests from prospective investors and partners.
  • Manager insurance enrollments and workers compensation claims.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources or office administration,preferably in environment of 5 employees 20+.
  • Fluency in Japanese is a big plus.
  • Ability to surface issues and handle sensitive and confidential information in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment with an emphasis on Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours with occasions overtime and fluctuates depending on the need of employees.
  • Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented.
