Responsibilities and Duties
- Build a team that embodies the store brand by delivering exceptional service and driving guest loyalty.
- Work effectively with store management and store crews and promote a positive culture of teamwork by working alongside the leadership team, establishing priorities, and providing clear direction.
- Review and interpret financial and operational reporting regularly, including store visit and audit results.
- Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy.
- Provide colleagues personalized customer service feedback and coaching.
- Support the planning, execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
- Market the store and its products, oversee planning of in-store and community events, such as adoptions, school visits and other local promotions and animal-welfare events.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- Proven ability to build a strong sales culture and high-performing teams, while demonstrating strong customer orientation.
- Solid experience in launching and managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing status updates on their success.
- One to three years of retail management experience, preferably in the pet industry.
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store.
- Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes.
