You will be responsible for purchasing products by understanding company needs based on stock, inventory, projects, and plans as well as general sales and market trends according to the industry.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain records on the company system including inventory adjustment, price change, and a container list.
- Communicate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure proper filling and efficient transfer of goods through the legal process.
- Prepare cost calculations to ocean and air shipments from foreign countries.
- Processe receipts and invoices for payment.
- Prepare weekly sales meetings, and update reports to inform salespersons about new products, changes in current products, and promotions.
- Assist with annual exhibitions, and attend company events and functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Business to Native Level is a must.
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Basic mathematical knowledge – markups, discounts, combining/converting measurements, counting inventory, etc.
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team, and to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload.
- Knowledge of Japanese foods and sakes preferred.
