Responsibilities and Duties
- Know and follow all safety rules and report any unsafe activity to your immediate supervisor.
- Buy merchandise or commodities to produce products.
- Analyze information from supplier to determine which is best option
- Engage with other departments to ensure all sample deadlines are made.
- Analyze and work with suppliers to ensure no constraints for our production
- Select, order, and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required..
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental System, ISO 16949 Management System and the Safety Management System is a big plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple situations at one time.
- Understanding of material costs, labor rates and component manufacturing methods.
- Physically able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally .
- Analytical, organizational, multi-tasking and detail-oriented skills.
